Privacy Policy
Effective: 24 Aug 2026
Speed Auto Clicker is a Chrome extension built by an independent developer. This page explains, in plain language, what we actually collect and why — not a generic legal template.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage events — things like "clicker started" or "feature used", sent from the extension to our own analytics worker and forwarded to Google Analytics 4 and Amplitude (EU region). These tell us which features get used, not who you are. Each event carries the two-letter country code our host resolves for the connection, so we can see which regions the extension is used in. We do not store your IP address.
- A random install id — a UUID generated when you install the extension, used only to link your entitlement (free or Pro) to your browser. It isn't tied to your name, email, or any account.
- Purchase / entitlement status — whether your install is Pro and on which plan, so the extension can unlock the right features.
- Purchase provenance (paying customers only) — the two-letter billing country from the address you gave Paddle at checkout (only the country code — never the street address), plus how your account came to exist (through the extension or the website). We use these solely to understand where and how people buy, and for support. They never affect your price or features.
What we do not collect
- No browsing history.
- No page content — the clicker interacts with pages you choose, but we don't read, log, or transmit what's on them.
- No accounts, no passwords.
- We never sell your data to anyone.
Payments — handled by Paddle
If you upgrade to Pro, checkout is handled entirely by Paddle.com, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your card details and receipt; we never see or store your payment information. Paddle may share your purchase email with us so we can identify your subscription for support purposes — we don't use it for marketing.
Email
We only have your email address if you contact [email protected] directly, or if Paddle shares a purchase-confirmation email with us as described above. We use it only to respond to you or manage your purchase — never for marketing lists.
Uninstall feedback
When you remove the extension, Chrome may show an optional uninstall survey (a Google Form). Filling it out is entirely optional and helps us understand why you left — declining it has no effect on anything.
Third-party processors
- Cloudflare — hosts our analytics worker and this website.
- Google Analytics 4 and Amplitude (EU) — receive the anonymous usage events described above.
- Paddle.com — payment processing and Merchant of Record for Pro purchases.
Your choices
Speed Auto Clicker works without any sign-up, and you can uninstall it at any time from chrome://extensions. If you have questions about what we hold, or want anything about your purchase corrected, email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
